1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Snugstaff, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. User Responsibilities
- Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use our platform.
- Account Information: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and for all activities under your account.
- Accuracy: You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or listing a property.
3. Booking and Payment
- Booking Process: Guests can book properties listed on Snugstaff through our platform. Hosts agree to honour all confirmed bookings.
- Payment: Snugstaff processes payments on behalf of hosts. Guests are charged at the time of booking, and Snugstaff will transfer payments to hosts according to our payout schedule, minus the applicable commission.
- Cancellation: Cancellation policies are set by the Snugstaff. Guests and hosts must adhere to these policies as outlined in each booking.
4. Fees and Commissions
- Host Commission: Snugstaff charges a 10% commission on the total booking price for each reservation.
- Additional Fees: Any additional fees, such as cleaning fees, are determined by the host and must be clearly communicated in the listing.
5. Host Responsibilities
- Property Listing: Hosts must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information about their properties.
- Compliance: Hosts are responsible for complying with all local laws, regulations, and taxes related to their property and rental activities.
- Safety: Hosts must ensure that their properties meet safety standards and are suitable for guests.
6. Guest Responsibilities
- Respect for Property: Guests must respect the host's property and follow any rules set by the host.
- Damages: Guests are responsible for any damage they cause to the property during their stay and may be charged for repairs or replacements.
7. Dispute Resolution
- Disputes: Any disputes between guests and hosts should be resolved directly between the parties. Snugstaff may assist in mediating disputes but is not responsible for resolving them.
- Legal Action: If a dispute cannot be resolved, it may be escalated to legal action, subject to the governing law specified below.
8. Liability
- Disclaimer: Snugstaff provides a platform for hosts and guests to connect and is not responsible for the actual properties, their condition, or the actions of hosts or guests.
- Limitation of Liability: Snugstaff's liability is limited to the amount of fees we received from the transaction in question.
9. Termination
- Termination by User: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Any pending reservations must be honored or canceled according to our policies.
- Termination by Snugstaff: We reserve the right to terminate your account or restrict access to our platform for any reason, including violation of these terms.
10. Changes to Terms
Snugstaff reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of our platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lincolnshire.
